Codex and Claude Code can work from the folder after you open or allow it. ChatGPT or Claude in a browser cannot browse the folder on your Mac, so you upload or paste only the material needed for that conversation. This is folder access—not automatic sync.

Transcrio uses online processing to create transcripts and summaries, then saves the results back to your Mac. Keep the source file available when an answer needs verification.
